The final exterior finish has been applied to the storage shed. It seems to be a good match to what is on the existing clubhouse. All that is left to do is construct a door, install some shelving and organize the contents. The fascia will get a coat of paint next spring and some landscaping will also be done. There shouldn’t be a problem of utilizing it fully.

The official Grand Opening will not happen until next year. Hopefully we can get the club president to do the ribbon cutting with an Open Shed to follow.

More storage coming for the Clubhouse.

Over time, everyone seems to collect items like tools, supplies, parts and so on. Here at the flying club, our things have outgrown the facilities to store them. So two members, Tom Glover and Eric Hiebert have teamed up to build a small shed to help solve the problem. It is under construction now (November 2019) with the completion set for “before the snow comes” (hopefully). The project will be a valuable addition to our little home.
