Stan Owen came to Vernon from Fernie, B.C. in 1977. Now retired, he is active with his aircraft, a Piper Turbo Arrow 111 which he owns in a partnership. He has been a prominent and busy member of the Civil Aviation Search & Rescue Association (CASARA) for over 30 years. He pilots the Arrow in countless training hours and has participated in dozens of searches over the years.
Stan’s interest is joining the Vernon Flying Club was to contribute his service, his knowledge of aviation in general, for some new learning experiences, the fellowship and friends.
