Our Flying Club monthly meeting is approaching. Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

We will begin with a BBQ serving  hamburgers at about 1800 hrs.  For just $12.00, the salads and desserts are included.  Afterwards, the meeting part of the evening will be held … starting @ 1900.

We try to feature a guest speaker following our meetings.  This month, we welcome RACHAEL ZUBICK, who is a Community Safety Coordinator / Public Programs & Community Safety Office.

With a back ground in Volunteer Co-ordination, administration and journalism, Rachael Zubick joined what was then called the Community Policing Office in 2001. Over 20 years later and several name changes along the way, Rachael’s responsibilities include the day to day operations and staffing of the Volunteer run Community Safety Office, program development and implementation to address current crime trends and community needs, crime prevention education and security audits using the principles of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED). Built on the foundation Crime Prevention Through Social Development which focuses on the root causes of crime, such as poverty, home and family deterioration, housing and food insecurity- Rachael works to provide the tools to live, work, and grow in a safer community.

Our meetings are open to members, their guests, and those interested in aviation who may be considering joining our association.  We’re always open to new people with new ideas!

Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  And, as always … at our clubhouse.
